Timmy Turner!?

Lately there has been an individual posting constantly about the relationship between various female characters of Kids Next Door with that of Timmy Turner of Fairly Odd Parents. While fan speculation is welcome on Wikipedia, and often interesting; it should be presented as such, and not as an official piece of information. I have no clue where this is coming from, and I don't know if I've missed something but I've never once seen, nor heard of such an event happening in either show. Seeing also, as how the two shows are on completely different networks, both of which are strong competators against eachother, it is extremely unlikely something like this would happen. There is also the fact only the most prolific female characters have been stated as having this confidant relationship with Timmy, no one else. This, and the fact that no search on google nor any other source of information in either fandom has turned up with anything more but Fanfiction based crossovers make this information obviously non-official. And really, even if it were presented as not being official information, its really not particularly important to describing the said characters at all. Numbuh 3's profile, was particularly twisted around to make it seem like this relationship was official and had to be reverted back to an earlier state.

Please, it is NOT canon. Don't try to make it out to be as such. It only serves to start unnecessary rumors if treated as canon.

Useful?

This is a pretty useless article for an encyclopedia. -01:37, 5 Feb 2005 68.104.178.8

Nobody forced you to read it. If you need something useful, how about Dead bodies and health risks? --Tony Sidaway|Talk 02:23, 5 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Yes, quite useful

The purpose of this Encyclopedia is to be a neutral fountain of knowledge on all things. This includes anything from everyday objects, to phrases, to TV shows like this. This is what makes the Wikipedia such a damn good idea, its open to addition of all sorts of knowledge. Weither it be information on nature and medicine, to even "fun" things like trivia, show information etc. While it may not be "useful" to some, thats not the point. The point is that its there, that its a valid piece of information even if its just for fun or reference sakes. Its really no different than an article on a piece of literature. To think otherwise is bordering on hypocrisy.

The definition of an encyclopedia right here states that its a collection of known information of all kinds. If one wants a true collection of all of humanity's knowledge, it needs everything, not just the essential to life stuff. Hell, entertainment is pretty damn essential to us really if you think about it. Thats what the whole point of the website is.

So really...just lighten up a bit.

Way too many articles

Is there an AfD vote about this? Why do all the characters and half the episodes in this show get their own articles? Ashibaka (tock) 02:11, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

The http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Codename:_Kids_Next_Door&action=edit&section=9 reason there are so many articles is because the point of Wikipedia is to keep people informed. Even some of the more devoted KND fans may not have seen every episode and may not know about many of these characters. A WikiFan (WikiFan, cool man!). 9 December 2005 (UTC)

Alrighty then, I am going to put some of the sillier articles on AfD and see what people think of that. Ashibaka tock 04:25, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

Definitely too many articles. I'm merging all the content into three : this main article, which will include all places, Codename: Kids Next Door characters, and Codename: Kids Next Door episodes. +sj + 07:27, 16 December 2005 (UTC). Please help by merging any articles you run across (some of the later episodes, for instance) which aren't yet merged. +sj +

The number of articles is not an issue. Wikipedia can support a practically infinite number of pages. We should organize this KND content in a way that allows users to find the information they want quickly and easily. Clearly dumping dozens of potential articles into pages like "Codename: Kids Next Door characters" is not a solution. Why not let "Numbuh One" stay at Numbuh One and "Rainbow Monkeys" at Rainbow Monkeys?

If there is enough verifiable information about a topic for it to merit an article, give it an article. It's actually really simple. Cover everything with as much clarity and detail as possible, while avoiding original research, maintaining a neutral point of view, and using verifiable primary and secondary sources. —Guanaco 22:14, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

I believe this article was better when it had its own section for trivia/references. Since it no longer had that, lots of references to many movies (the specific ones) were now removed. Especially the Star Wars part was edited done to just “Stars Wars has been cloned in this show". I agree a whole paragraph may not be needed, but surely more could be useful, and nice to have listed there. Where it once was, a whole paragraph was describing it, now there is very little descriptions at all. There are many other examples, but I don't recall them at the moment .Does "Battle Ready Armor" really diserve its own article, while trivia or references doesn't get one. If they shouldn't/can't have their own article then please don't remove multiple acounts of examples from trivia, enless it is really needed. I just wanted to bring this to everyone’s’ attention. Also why is the trivia part in 2 sections dived by a border thing? Should that be there? I didn’t edit it because it may be there for a reason, or someone just “put it” there for no reason.(September 21, 2006)

I have a copy of the original "reference" article and could paste it into an article if needed/wanted. Please let me know.

I agree, articles like Shows-inside-a-show in Codename: Kids Next Door and the articles for characters that only appear every so often or even just once like Vin Moonskis pointless. I think there are only two episodes that show Numbuh Six and even he has his own article! It would be an excellend idea to get rid of any of the uselss articles, at least any of them that are shorter than the infobox thing itself. InsaneZeroG 04:01, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Agreement

Well, I have been working in this article, sometimes loggin in sometimes not and in different computers, but still somebody has been messing with it and doing work that is not cannon. Example Season 3 has 13 episodes, as any other season has, the fact that CN aired it separately is not the same as how hey wher produced. CAKED-FOUR is not a special episode, is just another Season 4 episode and NAUGHTY is the first episode of Season 5 even if it was the fifth to air. Also I did the general KND Tech chart in which only one person has helped. I thought it should had it's own page since it would continue to grow but somebody merged it with any other content which seems unecesary. Back to the chart, if someone has TCG card and want to continue filling it that would be highly appreciated. Also, the appearence column is in which episode I remember seen it, not necesarily the first. Let's agree to leave it more or less like this.

G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S.--- Season 3 Finale?

(NOTE: There seems to be some disagreement about whether G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S. is the "ending" of Season 3, and how many episodes Season 3 had (some people have claimed it only had 10). Here's the official word: Season 3, like the rest of the Seasons, has 13 episodes. However, Cartoon Network does not always air them like "seasons". For example, after E.N.D., the end of Season 2, they showed F.U.T.U.R.E., the end of Season 3 with no real gap between them. After discovering Cartoon Network only planned to air the first 10 episodes of Season 3 before taking a break in showing new episodes, they moved G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S. to an earlier slot so that it would be just before the break, as season enders are supposed to be. However, Cartoon Network screwed with it again and aired G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S. earlier, before H.U.G.S./J.E.W.E.L.S., which was apparently supposed to air before G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S. So H.U.G.S./J.E.W.E.L.S. was the episode that aired just before the break, instead of G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S. The bottom line is that Season 3 did have 13 episodes, and G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S. was supposed to be the season finale, but they switched them around because of the break between new episodes midway through Season 3.) (RESPONSE: You have no idea of what you are talking about. F.U.T.U.R.E. was never meant to be Season 3 finale, after Season 2 Mr Warburton stated that he wanted to do more 30 minutes episodes just because it was easier to tell some stories that way. That would explain why in Season 4 they have not 1, or 2, but 4! Alas, a two part episode can be a season final episode because there is no continuity in the series.

Deletion of B.R.A.

For some reason, some person seems to keep deleting the information about the Battle Ready Armor from this article. If you are going to delete B.R.A. from this article, either give it its own article or put it on the List of Villains Technologies in Codename: Kids Next Door article. I am sick of having to put it back; either keep it or give its own article. Stop this nonsense!

B.R.A.

I Gave Battle Ready Armor it's own article

Future Missions

I Took Future Mission off of the episode guide because it can be accessed at the bottom of the page

Numbuh 4's Last Name

Numbuh 4's Last Name is BEETles, even if it is a reference to the BEATles Mr Warburton commited the mistake and decided not to change it, ask him if you don't believe.

TV Movie?

Does anyone has proof that there will be a Movie called V.I.L.L.I.A.N.S.?

It does not exist. -- PinkDeoxys 02:23, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Stop inventing info!

As of May 2006 we don't know the exact airing date of Season 5 and 6, we don't even know if there will be a Movie called VILLIANS. Stop adding info that are not proven facts.

Ep List

Finished reformating the Episode list, but now I feel its too empty. Any idea of what to add to it?

I think each episode should have its own article, and you should move the Episode list to something like List of Codename: Kids Next Door episodes. Discuess - Plau 11:02, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Information on unaired episodes

Where do I go to find information on the episodes without airdates and/or the List of Unaired Codename: Kids Next Door Episodes?
I added it to the main page, as Season 6. If you want information about what they are about or who appear on them, then you are out of luck because nobody knows and that who know won't tell (Mr. Warburton). Airdates are also chosen by Cartoon Network, and we only have up to ENGLAND/AWARDS~.Numbuh 201 18:58, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

Please could the user "68.9.253.178" explain where he gets the info he is posting? And no, the Unaried Missions page is not a valid source, most of that is vandalism that I have had to remove thousends of times. Also, episode summaries doesn't belong here! Numbuh 201 15:19, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Season 7

According to the List of Codename: Kids Next Door TV Movies, there is a 7th season in the works, but it's not listed in the main article or the KNDpedia! Does it exist or not? Bellsouth 4:35, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

How did the Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario references get removed?

I don't know, it maybe removed by vandal. --210.213.84.147 12:28, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Go Go Gorilla

Which episode had Go Go Gorilla and how was it used?

If I remember correctly, that was Op: D.A.D.D.Y. and was used by Numbuh 1, Sonia and Lee.

What are the Robot's Powers.I know that it's Based on Mechani-Kong.

30 Minute Episodes Missing

So apparently the article that listed 30-Minute long episodes is gone, which is reasonable. The only problem now is that the information from those episodes is no longer listed where it should be, under the respective season.

Any ideas how to fix this? Or am I missing somthing?70.33.100.163 00:34, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

edits

hey everyone, i have just been trying to make this page more user friendly, im very new to editing, but all i have done is moved some stuff, i have not deleted anything, or written anything. i have been told by many people that they dont like the way im formating it. FYI I have not done any of that. i just copied and pasted. no editing. so it would be great if people helped me edit, cause im obiously not going to be able to do it all in one day, and im very new to this all so im sure there are tons of people out there who are better at this than me. thanks! --narhyn

Delete Happy People

Look, whoever keeps deleting links from the bottom of the page needs to knock it off. They're relative links, and the owners of the fansites are just going to continue to put their links back up.

Also, whoever keeps putting in Numbuh 318 on the operative needs to either stop or cite their source. The official site makes no claim to a Numbuh 318 and the name of the operative hasn't ever been said in the show.

Also also? STOP MAKING UP NAMES FOR PEOPLE.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Valvigirl (talkcontribs) 28 October 2006

WP:EL and WP:NOT are pretty clear on the matter of external links. If they are being cited as a source they go in the references section. This is an encyclopedia not a webguide or repository of links related to articles. If the fansite owners are prone to replacing the links then we should be even more vigilant with removal. Linkspammers will always be a problem, that is no reason for us to disregard policies and guidelines. Cheers. L0b0t 03:24, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Regarding Star Wars references...

So, what's the story here? In the past few days, a part of the trivia, concerning Star Wars references in the series, has been removed and put back several times. I think the article titled Kids Next Door Organization should move to Kids Next Door. That fictional organisation's official name does not include "Organization". Also, see the case of Juniper Lee. Although The Life and Times of Juniper Lee is simply called "Juniper Lee" by fans, "Juniper Lee" does not redirect to The Life and Times of Juniper Lee. Article about that fictional character is titled "Juniper Lee".

And, I moved Sector V to Kids Next Door Sector V and Sector W to Kids Next Door Sector W to clarify Sector what of what. However, a user named Everyoneandeveryone reverted it without reason. What should I do?--JSH-alivetalk to mesee my worksmail to me 13:05, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Is Codename: Kids Next Door still being made, as in more episodes are going to come? Because i heard a rumor on IMDB that there's going to be a series finale or something? didn't this show got a 10 year contract or something?

I live in Russia, where CN begin to broadcast in April 2005, and therefore schedule doesn't changed (new shows appeared, but many of old shows e.g. Courage, The Cowardly Dog still running), and I hope administration will close other old unused shows such a Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel, Sheep in Big City.
