A Barnstar!
The Legion Barnstar

I hereby award this Barnstar to Michael Rawdon for his conspicuous effort editing and improving articles related to The Legion of Super-Heroes. Long live the Legion! Nutiketaiel (talk) 16:50, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was just flipping through some of the histories of articles related to the Legion, and I noticed that you were responsible in alot of cases for getting those articles off the ground in the first place. I don't know much about the edit war you were involved with years ago, but Wikipedia has developed alot since then. If you ever do see this, I hope you'll consider coming back. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Michael Rawdon! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 11 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Roger Slifer - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Corsair (comics) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Usual-variety comic trivia. Fails GNG/WP:NFICTION. BEFORE fails to find anything that's not a PRIMARY source of a WP:PLOT-like fictional bio summary.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on David Micheline requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Micheline is a typographical error of Michelinie

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. R3, which I assume is the criteria here, only applies to recently created redirects. Redirects created in 2004 do not fall under this criteria. Jalen Folf (talk) 05:26, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
